Marriage

Marriage is a covenant made between a man, a woman and God. The marriage covenant requires the married parties to be faithful and loving to each other as long as they both shall live. Christians are not to marry unbelievers, and are not to be divorced except for adultery or abandonment. Those who God has directed to be joined together shall, after counseling with the Minister concerning what God requires of them, be joined in Christian marriage (Malachi 2:13-16; Matthew 5:32, 19:5-6 & 9; romans 7:2-3; I Corinthians 7:10-11 & 15; II Corinthians 6:14;
