WELCOME!
We pray that you'll receive a warm welcome from our members and experience the warmth of God's love through the music and message in this service!
Please take a yellow attendance card from the holder on the pew, fill it out, and drop it in the offering plate when it is passed. Thanks!
We are in a series of sermons on the topic of Confronting Our Core Beliefs. Core beliefs affect our relationship with God and others. We might not even be aware that we have them but often our words and actions reveal that they are there. They may also be found in that inner self-talk that we may never say out loud.
But in order to grow in our relationship with the Lord and others we need to confront these core beliefs with the truth of God's word. It's a part of being transformed by the renewing of our mind so that our thinking becomes in line with what God says in the Bible!
So far we've confronted the core belief that "God can't be Trusted" and last week we confronted the false belief that "Romance and Sex will meet my deepest need." Today's message confronts another lie we may have embraced as a core belief: "I must do everything perfectly or I am worthless."
Want to know more about the Lord, His church or this congregation? There are two sessions of our BASICS I group left. Join us on Wednesday evening 7:00 in the Office Bldg. Conference Room! These last two sessions are the most important of all - it's not too late to come! Questions? See Earl, 451-5332.

Fasting and Prayer
Thanks to everyone that joined us in the day of fasting and prayer for the growth of this congregation spiritually, numerically, and financially! We believe God answers prayer! It's especially powerful when a whole congregation joins together in one accord!!!
I'd like to encourage you to continue in this practice. Why not join me for at least once a month fasting and praying for America and for our congregation? We won't set a specific day - choose one! And we won't make a public announcement. But we do want to make it a priority in our lives and we'll see the effects in this congregation and know that it will make a difference in our country! There's a sense of urgency to make every day count for Christ while there's still time!
New Class Starts Next Sunday!
"Depression: A Stubborn Darkness" starts next Sunday morning, February 7, 9:30 a.m. We will meet in the BB Classroom off the fellowship hall downstairs, main bldg. Get your book from Leslie Hamilton or Earl this week, read the Intro and first three chapters (don't worry they're short!) Depression, whether you face periodic, constant or seasonal this study is for you or in helping those you love. Questions! See Earl, 451-5332.
Peacemakers Class will begin Wednesday evening, February 17th, 7:00 p.m. This eight week session will help equip you to navigate through the inevitable conflict we all face in life and help you see it as an opportunity to glorify God, grow in Christ and minister to others! It's one of the best and most practical classes you'll ever take! Plan now to be a part of this great experience! Questions? See Earl 451-5332! (There are youth groups for children during this class session.)
Remember: Sunday, February 14, is Everyone Invite One Sunday! Invite someone you know that doesn't have a church home to come to worship with you that Sunday! Let's G-R-O-W!

Special Six Week Class For Teens
Bill Oehler is teaching a class on Creation and Evolution. This class is for Teens and will be every Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30 (Dates remaining are: February 4, 11 & 18). Bill will be focusing on the six most important things you need to know on this subject. These things will help you in dealing with the what they ram down your throat in science classes. Fred urges you to make room in your schedule for this class. If your homework load is so heavy that you cannot do both Wednesday Night Youth Group and this class then please skip Youth Group so that you can attend this six-class course.
Ladies S.S. Class
"Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and He could see again. Acts 9:18 God wants to give each of us a fresh perspective. He wants us to see things as He sees them and loves others as He loves them. When we embrace a change in perspective, things deep down inside us shift and we're better able to reflect God in the world around us. Please join the Ladies Class each week at 9:30 a.m. FOR A GRAND NEW DAY!
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
2 Timothy 2:15
BASICS I meets Wednesday evenings, February 3rd and 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room in the Office building. Come find out what we believe and why!
New Sunday School Class starts next week, February 7, 9:30 a.m. We meet in the BB Classroom downstairs in the Fellowship Hall close to the coffee :) !
A New Class will begin on Thursday evening February 25 at 7 p.m. to help inform us what the Constitution of the United States of America really says! Please plan to join us in this new class being taught by Matt A. Miller. Circle the date on your calendar now!

Everyone Invite One!!!
Every member of the congregation
is asked to invite one person
to worship service with them on:
Sunday, February 14, 2010, 10:30 a.m.
This is a practical and simple way
of doubling our attendance while
reaching out with the love of God
that could easily make an eternal
difference in the life of the one you invite!
Welcome
to our newest members
