The Church, acknowledging the deity and the absolute final authority of Christ and The inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, teaches that there is one and only one true living God, Who is self-existent, and the eternal "I AM," the creator of heaven and earth and the redeemer of mankind. The Congregation adheres to and recognizes the canonical writings of the Old and New Testaments as the revealed Word of God to man, and as such the only unerring guide and standard of Christian faith and practice. It shall be the purpose of The Anderson Ferry Church of Christ to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the preaching and teaching of the Bible, to bring the unsaved to Christ; and to build up the saved in Christian grace and living and to have a vital part in missions.We are united in one accord for the following purposes:

(1) to praise and worship God;

(2) to proclaim the full Gospel;

(3) to present salvation to the lost;

(4) to edify and unify the Body of Christ; and to pass on all the above to the subsequent generations.

Since the Anderson Ferry Church of Christ is under the law and commandments of God, the congregation is constituted to obey the guidance and teaching of the Holy Bible; God's Word. In connection therewith or incidental thereto, the Church shall have the right to do any and all things necessary for the furtherance of its purpose, all in accordance with its bylaws as the same may hereafter be modified or amended.
